Tonight I went out to the farm and<BR/>got to see Sean play with his new<BR/>guitar. He showed me the frets, <BR/>and talked about some other guitars<BR/>he liked. He likes to play along<BR/>with Dire Straits. He's already been saying how he now has a guitar like "Uncle Pohl" and "Mr. Al." Of course, I'll have to get some pictures with the sunglasses and one of the many hats he insists on wearing when playing. Mark didn't mention it, but Sean already watched the first 2-3 lessons on the dvd and then promptly started lecturing me onfrets and tuning knobs. And this from a not-yet-three-year-old!

I bet the memory of being in the guitar store will stick with him forever. He must have been very excited by that.<BR/><BR/>Sadly, I dislocated my shoulder on Saturday, so I may not be putting my arm over my guitar for a while. I certainly won't be lifting my amp. :-/

Sean Pohl is definitely looking forward to the next time his guitar 'idols' come over to play! Perhaps over the long Labor Day weekend? <BR/><BR/>We went to Guitar Center on Sat. "just to look", and they had this Pee-wee Les Paul in black. (since your last visit, he's been hooked on blue, but availability helped him change his mind back to black) We were going to wait until his b-day in Oct.
