spring blue

A windy sunday morning ride downtown to the office. Something made the blue sky pop out. Maybe it was the green, or the flowering trees. Or maybe it's just that I was riding later in the day. The camera-phone didn't really capture it.

That IS a great looking sky. I am so bummed that I missed being outdoors for most of the day. (So thanks for sharing a glimpse.)

Great picture...you must have a good c-phone cam.

Thank you, Adrian. I always have to give cell phone pics a little image processing magic, which basically amounts to clicking a button, fortunately.

Sunday was a lovely day for a ride, wasn't it? I have a great new bike but lost my riding partner -- K's nursing a broken elbow!

You guys should ride with us tonight. PERFECT night for a ride. 5:50pm from Blues (s.33rd and Pioneers).

I read about Ms. K's olecranon -- owie! I'm happy you've got a bike.

I haven't had time for any pleasure rides yet this year -- only what I get while going from point A to point B.

At least you have the commute -- that can still be a "pleasure" ride!

Commutes - i agree are pleasure rides...never in a rush...unless i'm chasing podunk down...get to stop by and drink a cafe freddo from cafe italia every once in a while.
Check out our ride schedules: http://teamfire-lincoln.blogspot.com/
EVERYONE is welcome.

thanks for that comment on cmj.

i can appreciate the predicament: fair skin + a "normal" amount of sun can = a tough go of it and some stress - let alone if your a farmer or an aspiring cyclist/ i should probably get checked out from all those hours on a bicycle.

that is a beautiful sunset - just one of the things i miss about lincoln.

all of mine lately are obscured by the foothills.
