I was in a different world the last time I mentioned the Missouri River Pedestrian Bridge, which is now under construction.When I went up to Omaha on Friday to reconnect with my old friends, I was able to snap a picture of the construction.
Apparently the finished product should look something like this.

Is it going to be part of the eventual linking of Omaha-Lincoln trails? Is that ever gonna happen, anyway?

I'm glad you asked, because it motivated me to hit google up for an answer. The scope of the future network is much, much larger than I had imagined. Whoa!

looks like fun. It would be cool to ride and carry some camping equip. on a 2-3 day ride.
