Enough with the car already. I'm back on two wheels. I made the journey very carefully. I thought the warmth of yesterday would have eliminated the black ice by today, but there are patches where the snow melt runs slowly across the path. The underpasses were particularly treacherous.Not only that, but I only had my rear brakes. I'm not sure how ignoring my bike for a month or two could make the front brakes suddenly stop working; I suspect somebody was a-fiddlin'.
Eric brought the forward inertial dampeners back online in a jiffy, though. (Thank you!)

I'd say stay away from the underpasses until the easter bunny shows up and bites jack frost on the butt.
