Yesterday after work the streets were wet from rain on the way home. It was a very pleasant ride up sumner. I threw my amp & axe into the trunk and went to go jam with Mark & Al.The fingers were a bit stiff from not being forcibly disciplined by the bus commute, but at the same time they were doing some things that I didn't think myself capable of. This was my first jam since I filed for divorce. There's clearly a connection between emotional upheaval and music. I might need to have a 2nd and 3rd failed marriage before I can quit my day job, though.
Fortunately, I love my day job. The best part was not being too dead after work to go jam.

Nice fall pic. You guys have a band? Play at any gigs?
It's not a band as much as it is a gang of dads who like to make noise in the garage on occasion. We don't have the collective discipline to pursue song structure, so we do a lot of wandering improvisation wherever the spirit leads.
No gigs yet, but a week from friday I may become the first atheist ever to play Southview Baptist. Should be fun.
I sign of good things to come. Improvisation - nothing better.
Wish I could have stayed and listened to you guys Wed. night!!! Mark said your amp sounded awesome in the church aud.! I really enjoy your pics and blog.
Sure, the new commute is nice. But does it come with a built in privy?
sadly, the camelot days of the mobile cammode are gone.
